Terrible name for a post title isn’t it! Anyway, JV Pixar News points to the El Capitan Theatre website where you can pre-purchase your Ratatouille tickets. The site lists Ratatouille as having a G rating and 90 min length.
Now, I doubt Ratatouille has been rated yet or it has finished being edited to have been given a time. I think these are just what Disney want Ratatouille to be. It will most probably be around the 90-110 minute mark in length and I can’t see it at the moment not getting a G.
That’s just my opinion however, so why don’t you share yours in the comments section below.

It’s interesting that DreamWorks seems incapable these days of producing a G-rated movie for children and also for us, the big children. “Flushed Away” and the “Shrek” series is rated PG for some violence, gangster references, cruel situations, language and lots of sexual innuendo.
.. and Pixar can do movies that amaze and fascinate me (I’m in my 30s), without employing any of the distracting PG tricks above, just purely amazing stories filled with great humor that I want to watch over and over, look at that stain on the wallpaper and the other thoughtful CGI details and be able to share them with my little children!
I’m hoping for a G rating so I can watch Ratatouille with my 4 yr old and have a great time together 🙂
anonymouse – My thoughts exactly on the subject. You don’t need several cross-references, vulgar language, or other unnoteworthy pieces of information to create a good, solid, and definite story that can be enjoyed by people of any age. Good ol’ Pixar….
Thanks for the information, luxo jr.!
