The Blue Sky Disney Blog has some new information on attractions that might be at Disney theme parks around the globe.
About the possible renovations of “Tomorrowland” to make room for a WALL-E World, BSD says….
If money keeps flowing over the next year or so then plans could solidify and construction could begin in late 2008 for a late 2010/early 2011 completion. Again, this is very early in the development process, speculative and many, many factors could change it.
Also, there is talk of removing Mulholland Madness, a rollercoaster, an in its stead would be a new rollercoaster.
The coaster will be more of a “classic” type coaster based on major Pixar characters, which some speculate will be an exact copy of the Crush Coaster in WDSP, but my sources seriously doubt this because of the existence of Turtle Talk already in DCA and Lasseter is not likely to have two attraction of the same character in one park.
says BSD.
Tokyo Disneyland is also getting the Monster’s Inc. attraction that is planned for the tomorrowland area. It will be even more elaborate than the Disneyland California Monster’s Inc. ride. It is scheduled to open in 2009.

Great article. I read the whole thing. Is this person an Imagineer? They seem to know alot of what’s going on inside Walt Disney Imagineering.
Is sounds like their really pumping in the money for great Pixar attractions. I hope they don’t forget to put some other rides that involve Disney though.
Other than that, great article. Looks like we have a new blog to read!
Wow. I just read the article. Sounds like Disney is going to make a serious attempt to turn DCA around and make it a worthy park across the Esplanade.
I can’t wait till it turns ten if all this happens!
