USA Today and Stitch Kingdom bring us our first look at the upcoming Toy Story Toon, Small Fry!
The brand new short, which follows the misadventures of Buzz Lightyear at a fast food restaurant, premieres with The Muppets later this month. In the story, Buzz must sit through a counseling session for neglected ‘Fun Meal’ knick knacks after his kid’s meal look-alike deviously switches places with the full-sized space ranger.
"There’s something funny about having the action hero have to deal with something very mundane like escaping from an awkward social situation," says MacLane in the USA Today profile. Tim Allen, John Ratzenberger and Joan Cusack returns to voice the toy gang, joined by Jane Lynch as narcissistic Neptuna and Teddy Newton as the 3-inch Lightyear.

This sounds awesome! These pictures are cute. I was surprised that not more toys like Rex, Mr. Potato Head, etc. aren’t going to be in it.
The first pic reminds me of the Toy story concept art.Woody was like a giant puppet and Buzz was a smaller action firgure with a red outfit.
