Disney, Josh Cooley, Toy Story 4

Posted by Nia • June 17, 2019

With only four days to go until Toy Story 4 is finally released in cinemas, there’s no better time than now to peruse your local Disney Store or check out Shop Disney Online and pick up your own interactive action figures of your favorite Toy Story characters!

The ol’ gang is definitely back and ready to play! You’ll be able to find action figures of Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, Rex, and Bullseye in stores. The exclusive line-up also features the new and improved Bo Peep and the loveable Forky, which you can see in the gallery above. The interactive action figures each have 10 unique expressions when they’re playing alone but when they’re paired with another figure, they unlock special phrases with their new interactive features. The toys are even able to sense when another interactive figure is nearby and they instantly start “talking” to each other, making you believe you’re right in the middle of a Toy Story film.

Has anyone bought their own figures yet? What are some of the special sayings you’ve heard when putting the toys together?

I don’t know about you, but I’m bringing all of mine to the cinema this Friday to watch Toy Story 4! We hope to see you there!

Monsters, Inc. Animated Series ‘Monsters At Work’ – Familiar Voice Cast Revealed

Disney, John Ratzenberger, Monsters At Work, Monsters, Inc.

Posted by Joanna • April 9, 2019

We’ve known that a new Monsters, Inc. animated series has been in the works for a good while now, but today an official title and voice cast were revealed. The series, which is being developed for Disney’s upcoming video subscription service Disney+, will be called ‘Monsters At Work’, and will arrive in 2020.

‘Monsters At Work’ will take place just six months after the events of Monsters, IncMike and Sulley will have fully settled into their new roles as Jokesters on the Laugh Floor, and who knows how serious Mike and Celia’s relationship will have gotten?

The voice cast reveal is a wonderful surprise: fans of the movie will notice that a lot of the names are very familiar… Billy Crystal is returning as Mike Wazowski, John Goodman is reprising his role as Sulley, Mike’s partner Celia will still be voiced by original voice actor Jennifer Tilly, and old favourites John Ratzenberger and Bob Peterson will lend their voices to the Yeti and Roz respectively. In fact, Bob Peterson won’t only be voicing Roz – he’ll be voicing Roze too, Roz’s twin sister. (!!!)

‘Monsters At Work’ will introduce other new characters in addition to Roze. Get ready for a long list of great names and a star-studded cast:

Tylor Tuskmon, a young mechanic who dreams of working alongside Mike and Sulley on the Laugh Floor, will be voiced by Ben Feldman, and he’ll be joined by a whole host of other characters: Bernard (also voiced by John Ratzenberger), Val Little (voiced by Kelly Marie Tran), Fritz (voiced by Henry Winkler), Duncan (voiced by Lucas Neff), Cutter (voiced by Alanna Ubach), Smitty and Needleman (both voiced by Stephen Stanton) and Millie Tuskmon (voiced by Aisha Tyler).

A quick aside – Alanna Ubach has voiced a Pixar character before: Mama Imelda in Coco!

A lot of the newly revealed voice actors have been tweeting about their excitement, so it’s easy to tell ‘Monsters At Work’ has had a lot of heart put into it. We’ll be looking forward to teasers and sneak peeks of the look of the series, which will hopefully be coming our way in the next few months.

Pixar at the Parks: Pixar Fest and First Looks at Woody’s Lunch Box

Disney, Disney Parks, Imagineering, John Lasseter, Merchandise, Pixar, Round-Ups, Toy Story, Toy Story 2, Toy Story 3, Toy Story 4, Toy Story Land

Do you love Pixar? (Obviously) Do you love going to Disneyland and Disney World? (Duh!) Well, now’s the perfect opportunity to plan your next trip to California AND Florida because, drum roll, please…

  1. Pixar Fest is coming to Disneyland!
  2. Not only that, but a brand spanking new Pixar-themed area will be at Disney’s Hollywood Studios soon!

According to Oh My Disney, Pixar Fest will be coming to both Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure beginning April 13th, 2018! That’s only five months away! Unfortunately the event will be for a limited time, but during April you will get to see both parks completely dedicated to the world of Pixar. The parks will include a new fireworks show, two new Pixar-themed parades, new merchandise, food and drinks, and more!

Thanks to Oh My Disney, here’s some of the cool things to look forward to at Pixar Fest:

“Together Forever—A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular”

The nighttime spectacular will feature a brand new fireworks display with Buzz Lightyear flying over Sleeping Beauty’s Castle. The main focus of the show, as the Together Forever title suggests, will be about the special bond between friends and celebrate the true meaning of friendship.

“Pixar Play Parade”

You guessed it, not only will Luxo the Lamp be in this Disneyland parade, but characters from films like Inside Out and Up will also make appearances.

“Paint the Night”

The Disney California Adventure parade will showcase characters from Monsters Inc., Toy Story, and Cars.

Pixar Shorts Film Festival

You can finally watch some of Pixar’s short films at the Sunset Showcase Theater in Disney California Adventure’s Hollywood Land.

Pixar Fest Charm Bracelet

Be sure to pick up one of the exclusive merchandise items that will be for sale, which includes Pixar-themed charm bracelets.

So 2018 is obviously going to be a great year for Pixar. Need any more proof? Over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida, Woody’s Lunch Box (an area that will be in the new Toy Story land section of the park) will be opening! Oh My Disney shared a first look of the area:

As the concept art depicts, Woody’s Lunch Box will feature a plethora of different toys from Andy’s collection, even showing off some of Andy’s lunch box items.

It will certainly be thrilling walking among some of the iconic Toy Story toys in Woody’s Lunch Box AND celebrating the studio with Pixar Fest – it’ll feel like we’re finally apart of the magic behind a Pixar film.
