In Pixar’s coming movie "Toy Story 3," Woody the cowboy and his toy-box friends are dumped in a day-care center after their owner, Andy, leaves for college.
That was the opening line to a WSJ article on movie companies wanting to take a share of the movie-tie-in games.
I hope this isn’t true. That sounds very sad. I always expected Andy to have a little brother.
And isn’t Woody supposed to be a “family heirloom”? Would they really give him away?
I also hope this is not the plot. There would have to be something more interesting about the basic premis, I would think. However, I have heard this rumor many times, so who knows! I have reason to believe that toy trains will be involved… that is my prediction.
That would be really sad…to have them after all this time dropped off.
Wouldn’t that kinda demoralize the whole idea of Toy Story??
It should start off with them still with Andy but some problem which they could use as a plot for the movie.
I thought that Andy would leave them home and they would go find him.
