Toy Story 3 continues Pixar’s Golden Globe Awards domination, making it the studio’s fifth consecutive winner in the category. Lee Unkrich’s latest went up against some familiar, but equally tough competition:
• Despicable Me
• How to Train Your Dragon
• The Illusionist
• Tangled
Although Toy Story 3 was noticeably overlooked, with only one nomination (Toy Story 2 won Best Pic. — Comedy or Musical at the 2000 ceremony), Tom Hanks and Tim Allen were able to inject some Pixar humor into the show. "You are a sad, strange little man." Allen joked with Hanks on stage.
