If it’s anything like Toy Story on Ice, it should be good.
The creators of Toy Story originally and specifically made it as an alternative to all the animated musicals before it. And now its going to be a musical? Bloody Disney…
I’d say they judged it on the huge success that the Finding Nemo Musical had, and hopefully they’ll pull Mario Lopez and his wife in on the project since they did so brilliantly on the Nemo musical songs.
I do agree with Anonymous, though…….he/she has a good point. The whole idea of it seems oxymoron, but hopefully if the rumor’s true, it’ll be good.
Mario Lopez? “A.C. Slater”?
I think you’re thinking of Bobby Lopez, co-composer and lyricist of Broadway’s AVENUE Q. He composed the score of FINDING NEMO THE MUSICAL with his wife Kristen Anderson.
Too bad Mario and Ali Landry’s draft of NEMO didn’t go over too well with the Disney execs, though.
