Wouldn’t it be great to catch the entire Toy Story trilogy in one night?
That’s right, 3D screenings of Toy Story and Toy Story 2 followed by Toy Story 3 are all happening on June 17th! Twenty cities across the country will hold special ‘triple feature’ screenings and admission is available now!
Click here for a graphic that shows the list of participating theatres. If you see your area and would like to attend, I’d recommend getting tickets right now before they’re sold out. This may be the first and last time that all three features screen back-to-back in theatres.
Now here’s another first. Disney/Pixar debuts a new service on Twitter which allows Trending Topics to be purchased. For this reason, Toy Story 3 appears on the list with a yellow Promoted tag next to it. Once clicked, real-time TS3 mentions show up, as with other Trends.
This is part of Twitter’s initiative to make a profit from the website. I can see why Twitter would do it, but surely Toy Story 3 would land a trending spot this weekend without having to pay. I’ll remind you that Twitter’s current Chief Financial Officer, Ali Rowghani, used to hold that position at Pixar. More details can be found on TechCrunch.

Disney Living recently released a video promoting one of the latest figures from the Toy Story Collection: Mr. Potato Head! John Lasseter is featured as he talks about the significance of the toy and its features.
Metacritic reports "Universal Acclaim" for TS3 with a Metascore of 88. Toy Story received a 92 while TS2 also stands with an 88. Unlike Rotten Tomatoes, Metascores don’t tally by approval, but by averaging critical ratings.
Speaking of Rotten Tomatoes, Toy Story 3 continues on with a 100% ‘Fresh’ rating, this time with 26 reviews counted.

On metacritic, WALL-E got a 94, and Ratatouille got a 96, which is incredibly rare for a movie to score that high.
Also, if you go to metacritic and click on “features” there’s a really cool article comparing pixar and dreamworks.
i completely amazed and surprised. I saw it hours ago( in indonesia, it was released 1 day earlier). It is thursday, so i think there isn’t much audience, but i surprised that before theatre building’ door opened, there is more than 100 peoples lining up. For the movie itself, the best toy story ever if you ask me. I almost cry, same with people next to me.
