As many of you are probably aware, Flickr is a very useful webstie for photos and sharing photos etc. So today I started up Upcoming Pixar at Flickr.
As part of this, there is now the Upcoming Pixar Flickr Pool. If you are a member of Flickr, this means that if you have any Pixary photos that you want to share, you can add them to the pool for everyone to see. You can add photos of any Pixary events, eg. Big Cheese Tour, premiere pics etc. you can add them there. You can also add pictures of your Pixar toy collections etc. If it is Pixary, you can add it. If anyone is keen to be a moderator of that group, feel free to email me and we can discuss it! Please be aware however, that if you add your photos to the Upcoming Flickr pool, I may choose a photo from the pool to appear in the articles featured on Upcoming Pixar. So by uploading your photo, you’re expressly agreeing to the use of your photograph in any such article, or any marketing material I produce for Upcoming Pixar. If I do use your photograph, I’ll be sure to give you full credit in the article or related material, and even link to your site — so be sure to put all of your information in your Flickr profile.
Also, if you don’t have a Flickr account, I highly recommend you get one, but if you don’t want to but want to add them to Flickr, you can send them to me and I will upload them to my Upcoming Pixar Flickr Photo Stream. Unfortunately, I the highest resolution available is 1024 by X pixels. You can still send them in a higher resolution but they will only be available at the 1024 by X pixels resolution. Being able to view a photos original size requires a Pro account.
