To be honest, the trailer fails to impress me. In fact, it scares me. I’ve been on board with the Cars sequel the whole time, but with the latest Cars Toons and this trailer, I don’t know what to think now…
That’s pretty funny, but I hope the Toy Story 3 Blu-Ray has one that’s more extensive. 35 seconds is hardly a trailer.
The Teaser is lame. This sequel doesn’t excite me at all and this teaser won’t change that.
Some more concept art can be found on the official Cars 2 website: http://disney.go.com/cars/cars2/index-cars2.html
they are cars 2 conceptart drawings on the german blog (pixarblog.de).
I agree with bacon. This trailer kinda scares me. Cars is definitely my least favorite Pixar film, and I was never quite on board with a sequel. This teaser doesn’t make me feel any better…
Does this mean the movie is all about special agents? ‘Cause the trailer focusses on that…
its no longer disney-pixar….. its just disney now, and disney puts $ before thought, GREAT JOB PIXAR YOUVE MADE YOUR FIRST DREAMWORKS MOVIE— YEAH! TRAIN TO AVERAGE!
How can you now? The movie isn’t even out yet, it’s just a teaser trailer!
Agreed with Bacon. :
Finally! The teaser trailer!!! I thought they’d never put it out!
But yeah . . . A bit concerned with the focus on the secret agent part . . . But then again, I have seen a Pixar teaser trailer :cough:Ratatouille:cough:where I wasn’t impressed with it and then loved the film. So I’m putting my trust in Pixar.
Why do people keep calling it a trailer? It doesn’t have that green band in front of it and is about the length of a tv commercial.
Heck yes! I tend to find ‘teasers’ have very little to do with the films, for the most part anyway. Sounds like this will be fun! 😀
I’ve never been too fond of the idea for Cars 2. Now that I’ve seen the teaser, I’m even less fond of the idea. Hopefully I’ll be impressed, because I know I’ll end up seeing it anyway.
how all you dare,,,,,I heard the same stupid things on UP and Toy Story 3 teasers trailers: it is not good, dont get me exited, not a good sign, looks like dreamworks, unimpressed, fails, bomb,,,bla, bla, bla,,,STOP, I bet all you be loving this movie next summer

Toy Story 3’s trailer was amazing I thought, this not so much. More like just an online thing than an actual trailer
Since when did people NOT like the Up and Toy Story 3 teasers? The Up teaser was very subtle, as well as Toy Story, but this… ugh. I mean while everyone entirely disapproves of the teaser, I think it’s kind of cool, and I can imagine the audience fairly cracking up to see the pair of McQueen and Mater again in some silly adventure, but the teaser just didn’t do it completely for me, I hope the trailer is different. I’m still not keen on the idea that Pixar is making sequels . . . they successfully got away with Toy Story (which I much appreciated), I just don’t really want to see any other repeated franchise, I want to see more original and phenomenal cinematic work.
Guys, remember what Josh Cooley said about this film? He said that it would surprise people. This has happened before, let’s just see what the masters at pixar can do with this.
Honestly, i more interested with DWA’s future movies line up. It has some original movies, but mostly adaptation or sequel/rip-off. If those movies end up bad, i just feel….alright, it’s okay, they’re dreamworks anyway. But, if i see Pixar movies, and end up bad too, i feel disappointed and mad, because they’re pixar and then i learn something ,that pixar is a man made company. Human isn’t perfect. So, if this film will be worse than the original and automaticly make this movie the 2nd disappointing strike of pixar , we must accept it. We must face a change that pixar can’t make great movies again and again anymore. they’re just human. The smartest the human can be, they only use 3% of their brain capacity.
But, i hope i am wrong, maybe, this end up better than the original.
The teaser barely relates to the first film at all.
Well, I’m putting my .02 cents in to say that i’m keeping the faith because Pixar wouldn’t go through with it if they didn’t like what it was. I don’t think they’d throw there reputation away for a quick buck.
Also, I’m not very fond of Dreamworks bashing. Sure, they’ve done more bad movies than Pixar (Shrek the Third, Bee Movie, Madagascar 2, and Shark Tale, I WILL NEVER DEFEND THESE) but for every one of those, they have the first two Shreks, How To Train Your Dragon, and, IMO, Kung Fu Panda. I thought Monsters VS Aliens was a lot of fun and a surprise considering I never wanted to see it. Everything else is at least very entertaining on my list. I’ll also be at Megamind, I’m interested in the concept.
LOL everybody is saying Pixar has failed from a 30 SECOND TRAILER? Seriously guys?
Up’s teaser wasn’t that amazing either.
“Afternoon…”
Yeah and with that one word came a great movie. So shut it.
