What if Brad’s scouting Cruise for a future Pixar production while making M:I 4?
You never know. ^^^
Haha, When you said look at his cap I was looking a the wrong guy’s head. “New York Yankees? That doesn’t make any sense!” Then I saw I was looking at Tom.
I’m not sure if you guys knew this already, but apparently Paramount doesn’t want to call it Mission: Impossible IV. The current working title is “Aries.”
Anyway, Brad Bird could announce his next film is about a pile of dirty laundry and I’d be lining up to see it, the man is a genius and I can’t wait to see M:I– er, I mean Aries and I’m eagerly awaiting whatever he has planned next.
I’ve figured that Brad is using ‘MI:4’ as a possible springboard to prove himself towards getting ‘1906’ made.
I just hope that Paramount won’t throw a large line of executives and product-people at Brad, but he’s stepped outside PIXAR and back into the real world, and the studio system is…meh.
Why are you reporting this when you refuse to report anything related to John Carter of Mars because it’s not from Pixar?
Like I said, it’s too good to pass up. JCoM casting announcements— not so much. That’s my opinion. For the record, I don’t refuse to post about JCoM. If it involves Andrew Stanton heavily, I’ll post about it. Minutiae— no thanks.
I’m not all that crazy about Mission Impossible, but as long as Bird will continue to work with Pixar, that’s fine with me.
I don’t really like the M:I movies, but—-it’s Brad Bird. I might actually like this one. However, I’d prefer more Pixar.
I was looking at the DGCBC film list (http://www.dgcbc.com/productions.pdf) which has a list of upcoming productions and it has ARIES listed as starting December/10.
So…shooting in Prague or Vancouver? Prag-couver?
Anyway there’s a new Pixar studio here too. Maybe it doesn’t mean anything – maybe it means a lot…
