Gosh, this stuff just screams “nostalgia”. I love the images — a bit spoiler-laden, but gorgeous — and the progression shot.
Whenever I click on the picture featuring the cast and crew of “Up”, I get a completely different image. Just thought you might want to know….
Thanks for the update!
This article took me forever, not writing it but resizing and uploading those images. I’d appreciate if more people gave their opinion on these images to make the hours of uploading worthwhile. Thanks Mitch for acknoledging my effort. 🙂
Lately sooooooooo much news comes daily it’s getting hard to get it all in (with school and real life and all) but I try to squeeze every bit of it into as little articles as possible for your convenience. And I’d just like to say I really want to hear from the readers because it feels like I’m talking to myself (and I’m not because we get thousands of readers per day) but the lack of comments makes me feel like these posts are taken for granted.
Sorry for the lengthy comment but I hope you guys understand. I’m not one to beg for comments but I really want to hear what you think about these Up images.
You’re welcome. I know where you’re coming from, since I’ve literally spent hours tweaking and uploading both images and articles numerous times before, so I can understand the longing for acknowledgment. That said, all of the hard work and effort that you put into this site is greatly appreciated. Without you, this place wouldn’t be half as updated or on top of things news-wise. The articles which you post up daily are highly informative, engaging, and fun to read. Don’t ever think that you’re submitting unworthy material, because your contributions to this site are awesome.
Personally, I don’t know why there’s a lack of input here myself. This stuff is gold, especially those images. Viewing them only makes me want to see the film even more.
Woah. I just noticed the links to the concept art. I’ll have to take a look at that for sure….
I know what you mean, Martin. Everyone’s been there at some point. Remember that just because people don’t comment, it doesn’t mean people aren’t reading the articles. 😉 I try to comment when I can though, but will do so in bursts when I have free time. You’re doing a fantastic job, though.
Perhaps you could recruit another writer for the Upcoming Pixar crew? Getting bogged down by whatever project gets to be no fun pretty quickly. I would be able to do what I could to take the load off, but it would be intermittent, say, a few articles a week, but even that would depend on my Radio Pixar and other commitments.
The Carl and Ellie looking at the clouds photo is just gorgeous and yay, she has freckles. And this is kind of random, but Pete Docter has long legs, lol. =D
Hi Martin,
I’m that “naysayer” who commented a while back about how I wasn’t terribly impressed so far with how this movie is looking. Well, I’m gonna have to go ahead and recant that statement now, ‘cause I totally want to see this! I was sold when they showed the latest trailer. These stills only solidify my desire to see it. This movie looks just gorgeous. Still not a fan of the kid’s voice acting, but that is now a very minor complaint. I wish they could go back in time when Eli Marienthal was a kid and get him to do the voice acting, because he was phenomenal as Hogarth Hughes in Iron Giant. Oh well… like I said, minor grievance, at this point (maybe seeing the movie will change my mind on that, too.) Can’t wait to see this now. Thanks for being vigilant and making so many frequent posts, I don’t comment often, but I do want you to know that people are paying attention.
