Lasseter Talks Toys may be over for now but Disney Living still has more Toy Story content to premiere!
The new series of featurettes is called From Screen to Shelf, a behind the scenes look at the creation of Toy Story toys as Disney Consumer Products collaborates with Pixar to translate the cast from the movie into reality. The talent behind the figures walks you through the step-by-step creative process and in the series’ second episode, the group talks about how they got in the toy business. While you’re watching, see if you can spot a reference to an upcoming Pixar movie, find out the answer below:
Notice the door in the background during the 1:33 time stamp of the video. Yup, it says Cars 2 War Room. I wonder what kind of awesome toy ideas are being brainstormed in there for the sequel to Pixar’s high-octane adventure? Judging 
from the Toy Story mini-figures, it’s going to be some great stuff!
