It’s official: Toy Story 3 is now Pixar’s highest grossing film at the domestic box-office!
The toy gang flew past Finding Nemo on Monday (for real, this time), finally breaking the studio’s longtime record. As if becoming the top selling movie of 2010 wasn’t enough… 😉
How will Toy Story 3 fare this week?
Check back daily!
Monday: $2,799,643
Tuesday: $3,424,501
Wednesday: $2,988,462
Thursday: $2,513,639
Today’s Cumulative Domestic Gross: $350,967,102
Notes and Predictions: It seems as though Toy Story 3 has hit the open sea after passing Finding Nemo’s long standing benchmark. At this point, all I can do is congratulate Lee Unkrich and his amazing team at Pixar for their outstanding achievement. Let’s hope for another $100 million…
International: Although Toy Story 3 has topped the US box offfice, there’s still some more work to be done around the world. More figures coming soon!

Finally!
I really hope Pixar will ignore the ‘suits’ who will undoubtedly ask for another ‘Toy Story.’
At this point, TS3 could hit $400 million, but it’s a longshot if it can get higher. The film is coasting now on the ticket sales of the regular theater screens.
i really hope it beats shrek’s record. A pixar movie deserves the record for the highest box-office gross for an animation film
