Route 66 News points out that McDonald’s revealed today what the toys from Cars will look like when they enter their Happy Meals or Might Kids Meal.

Although the press release says the sale of these toys starts Friday, it seems sale has already begun in Australia as I have a Lightning McQueen toy. You pull him back and let him go and he goes back on two wheels. Pretty cool! I would like to collect them all as well as collecting all the die cast matchbox size models of all the characters. They are very cool.

The diecast models? They are really expensive ($AUD7.95) which is an annoyance. Thanks anyway Shine. My favs at the moment are Doc Hudson (he looks so cool as you saw hehe), then I want a Sheriff then I’d get a Fillmore and Sarge and then Flo and then a Lizzie and then I would get the rest. They don’t look as collectible as these guys. Target stocks lots of Cars mechandise at the moment.
neh i got a different Lightning McQueen compared to the one advertised. he appears to be covered in dirt/mud and his expression is different. could he possibly be a limited edition?
I got the exact same as you have Scheree. I thought it was pretty weird he was like that. I guess he is meant to look like that.

I saw a trailer a few hours ago about the Cars toys. The Mater toy is magnetic, so it literally “tows” other Cars toys. It looks awesome. 😛
