Have you checked out the brand new comic, The Incredibles: Family Matters from BOOM!? If you’ve been reading the blog lately you know about the other book that’s coming soon to stores, Cars: The Rookie!
Comic Book Resources is reporting that the first installment in The World of Cars comics series will be coming April 1st. The site also has a review of the comic:
"While I didn’t enjoy this book as much as I did "Incredibles," I’m far from disappointed in this line."
The review also states that since Cars has set such a high bar, the comic can’t touch it, but fans won’t be let down by this back story. In our previous post we got a plot synopsis, basically it’s the story of Lightning McQueen’s past before the events of the first Cars.
