Disney's Iger says he had 'really good' Pixar talks

But CEO-elect says he doesn’t want to ‘give you odds’ about a new distribution deal

Talks are going really well says Robert Iger with Pixar, after Pixar announced it’s split with Disney last year, ending with Cars, after having talks with Disney CEO Michael Eisner.

“I’m not sure I really want to give you odds. We’ve had really good discussions. … The fact that we are having a dialogue is a really good thing, and it has been really healthy. We’d certainly like to find a way to continue to do business with them, and I think the feeling is mutual.” said Iger.

Pixar is set for the release of their rat project, Ratatouille, either independantly, with another company of which some have said they would gladly take Pixar under their wing, or now if talks go well, with Disney once again.

Cars is set for release on June 9 next year.
