Animated News points to the December 2006, Letter to the Shareholders from Walt Disney CEO, Bob Iger, where we see another image from Ratatouille and the first image from WALL•E!
Bob says…We’re also excited about Pixar’s next animated movie, Ratatouille, which will be released this summer. And I’m pleased to give you an exclusive first look at the title character of their next movie, WALL• E (pictured here), which will be released the following year.
And here is the image.
WALL• E, from Academy Award®-winning director Andrew Stanton (Finding Nemo), is scheduled for release June 2008.

Just adorable. He looks like one of those land rovers that NASA sends to Mars, although much more appealing. And since Mr. Stanton is directing the project, I have no doubt that it will be a winner.
As for the Remy picture: Very cute. Man, I wish I had a rat again. Remy just looks so kissable. (snigger)
Yeah, I wonder what his name is. I can’t wait for the teaser trailer! I really hope we don’t get all the comments that we got for Cars i.e, that you can’t connect to the characters well and stuff like that.

Awesome!!! I can’t wait to see this one. I’m positive that Andrew Stanton will pull it off again and from what I’ve heard, the story should be really tight. The little robot “Wall-E” is trying to find himself a home in outer space. Yessir! That’s enough to hook me;)
