John Ratzenberger wins Lifetime Achievement Award

John Ratzenberger News

Briefly: John Ratzenberger was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award last Friday at the 2008 Ft. Lauderdale Film Festival. Pixar’s good luck charm has appeared in hit films such as Star Wars, played Cliff Clavin for 11 years on Cheers, danced on Dancing with the Stars, has his own show on the Travel Channel, Made in America, and even started his own charity, the Nuts, Bolts and Thingamajigs Foundation. He joked about his reccurence in Pixar’s features: "I don’t know how that happened. I think it was a clerical error. I think one day they’re going to say ‘Wait a second.. He’s been in all the movies!" Ratzenberger said it was "an honor and a pleasure" to recieve the award; he sure deserves it!
