Brad Bird’s Ratatouille has been chosen this year by kids as the winner of Favourite Animated Film at the 2008 Kids’ Choice Awards, hosted and run by Nickelodeon.
Kids Choose Ratatouille At KCA '08
It was in the running against The Simpsons Movie, Bee Movie and Shrek The Third.
With over 80 million votes cast, hopefully this reassures Disney that Pixar is still number one.

Wow! I can’t believe it!
Actually, I can, but the fact that Ratatouille won out against Bee Movie, Shrek III, and Simpsons just amazes me.
A congrats to all the Pixar team, and thanks to the people at pixar planet news for letting us all know!

A-ha! Really? I knew that the kids liked it but I didn’t know that they liked it that much, what with the adult themes and all. Needless to say, I’m pleased. (heheh)
Congratulations to the entire team at Pixar, and thanks to the contributers for the information!
wow, this is awesome! it won a teen award while up against Bee Movie, Shrek III, and especially The Simpsons! Those all are either really well known and liked, and in Bee Movie’s case, it has Jerry Seinfeld!
I’m a teen myself, and I loved Ratatouille, but it still is a bit of a nice suprise to hear it won 🙂
