Lasseter Talks Pixar’s “Mind” Project!

In a recent interview with Charlie Rose, John Lasseter revealed another example of girl-power in Pixar’s production pipeline.
Although the studio has had a history of strong women in their films, it won’t be until next year’s Brave that a true female lead will take center stage. On that note, another leading lady may be poised for Pixar’s line-up in Pete Docter’s upcoming "Inside the Mind" project:
"Pete Docter, from Monsters, Inc. and Up, is doing a new film that takes place inside a girl’s mind and it is about her emotions as characters, and that is unlike anything you’ve ever seen."
Don’t miss John Lasseter’s full interview with Charlie Rose. Pixar’s chief creative officer remembers Steve Jobs, talks about the early days of Pixar, takes a look at the future of the animation studio and much more.
Untitled Movie That Takes You Inside The Mind is set to open May 30, 2014.

2014 seems so far away – wah!

But the film sounds so left of centre and so different than anything Pixar has ever done. I’m really looking forward to this film as well as Brave and the Dinosaur one.
