Just as we tease an impending rollout, Pixar reveals a genuinely never-before-seen character from Cars 2!
Carla Veloso, a Brazilian racecar, is set to share the track with Lightning McQueen this summer. Their mission: to determine the globe’s faster car in the World Grand Prix.
Official Description: Updated World Grand Prix contender Carla Veloso hails from Rio de Janiero, Brazil. The sweet but powerful Latin diva can dance the night away at “Car-nival,” but spends most of her time on the racetrack. In the World Grand Prix, the proud Brazilian Le Motor Prototype racer is the only female in the field, and Carla is ready to prove to the world that #8 is there to win for her home country.

It´s nice that the first new racecar to be introduced is brazilian. And it´s a woman! Earlier today, when the three new cars were first shown, her name (Carla Veloso) and colors (it´s blue and green, two of the main colors of our flag) got me thinking: this might be a brazilian car. And there you go!
Hope we get descriptions soon.
Hey, I forgot to talk about the turntable video! In the video, she´s dancing, shaking and sending a kiss. Yeah, that´s the way brazilians are usually pictured around the globe. But anyway, it´s cute, I liked it! All the other characters are probably gonna be pictured in ways that popularly remind us of their countries.
This car has no reflection on brazilian racing, why couldn’t they just the designed as a F1 car who has characteristics of and resemble the great legend known as Ayrton Senna. Now thats an representation, this car is nothing but a gimmick. By Azzstar
She’s pretty cute. The color reminds me of RC from Toy Story.
