Pixar at D23 Expo: Toy Story/Toy Story 2 in 3D US Premiere and More!

The full line up of D23 Expo content from the Walt Disney Studios and beyond has been announced!

For those of you who may not know, the D23 Expo is a convention for Disney fans being held at the Anaheim Convention Center from September 10th to the 13th. Pixar will have a huge presence at this years event amongst other company divisions, from Parks and Resorts to Consumer Products. D23 covers pretty much everything Disney — past, present and future; including screenings, panels, previews and more!

Particularly exciting for animation fans is John Lasseter’s Walt Disney/Pixar Animation Studios presentation, including upcoming animated films such as The Princess and the Frog, Toy Story 3, Rapunzel and more! We can expect some huge news, especially about the much anticipated sequel, to be broken at Sunday the 13th’s panel. The highlight of the week may be convention goer’s US premiere screening of Toy Story and Toy Story 2 in 3D Double Feature on the same day at 7:00 PM! Some other events of interest to Pixar fans include meeting WALL•E and the inspiration behind Toy Story Mania!

D23 Expo is the first event of its kind, unfortunately I won’t be able to go, but it sounds like tons of fun! If you are planning on being in Anaheim, California on the dates above and haven’t gotten tickets yet, get them now before they disappear!

    I didn’t want to sound redundant by writing in Anaheim, California.
    But yeah, that’s were it is.
