As you have no-doubtedly seen, Pixar has had some slumps in their stocks and finacially have been going downhill. However Pixar will probably recover and here are some reasons why.
Potential catalysts for Pixar include news on the next three-film slate as well as a possible new distribution deal.
Presumably this 3 film slate means ‘Ratatouile‘ plus two more films we know nothing about, and we’ll get an announcement before the end of the year on what they will be, as Steve Jobs indicated in the recent conference call.
Hopefully we will get too see something from Ratatouille later this year or early next year as Pixar will have started production on it by then hopefully.
