I noticed this on the sidebar of that collider story:
http://www.collider.com/2010/10/04/presto-director-doug-sweetland-sony-pictures-animation-the-familiars/
Have you heard about this?
Yeah, I saw it on Twitter earlier today. I wish Doug the best of luck, but once he steps out of Pixar, it is no longer relevant to the blog. That’s my opinion, of course. Thanks for passing the news along, though! 🙂
They did finding nemo? When?!
They did a gag with a Finding Nemo blanket at one point. I’ll look into it. 🙂
Is this what martini833 was talking about?
“You might recall Fat Tony scaring the carpool kids with a “tonight you swim with the fishes… because I brought a Finding Nemo beach towel!”” – <http://www.slashfilm.com/2009/05/19/pixars-up-makes-cameo-appearance-on-the-simpsons/>
The Simpsons Wiki also mentions it. <http://simpsons.wikia.com/wiki/Fat_Tony>
Anonymous— That’s it! Thanks! 🙂
Wow. They even added a Mike, Wall-E, and Buzz. Totally what’d I’d see in the clouds too 😉
Curses you Itchy. They were just fine xD
And they even did the music. Niceee.
The Simpsons had a reference to Cars on a fairly recent episode too. I can’t quite remember the context, but a hallucinating character saw the cars on the road as living things with faces which were clearly drawn to resemble the Pixar characters. Wish I’d been paying more attention, the T.V was on, but I was busy doing other things!
Can’t watch this, not in the US, does anyone have any other link?

Here’s the link to the video for fellow non-Americans!
