Toy Story 3 Preview Gala at Pixar!

News Toy Story 3

How would you like to watch Toy Story 3 almost a month before general audiences?

What if I told you that the exclusive screening is at a certain Emeryville animation studio and that you’d be helping a great cause? I probably don’t have to ask any of those questions as the answers would surely be unanimous. In that case, you’ll want to listen up, er, read on for the important details.

Pixar is holding a gala of sorts at their legendary campus on May 22nd, 2010 for a few guests to experience the studio and their upcoming film. This event is like nothing I’ve heard of before (that’s open to the public) at Pixar, so it’s one of a kind as far as I’m concerned. Here’s why:

Admission covers an elegant black tie dinner party, screenings of TS3 at 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM, a tour of the studio, and much more! I hear you ask, "How much is this going to cost me?" Entrance is on the expensive side, but there are a few options! An individual ticket runs at $1,000 dollars with group packages ranging from $15,000-$50,000 dollars.

But don’t stop reading just yet! It appears as though the money will go to JDFR (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International) so if you’re fortunate enough to attend, you’ll be benefiting a worthy cause. I know many of you don’t have ten spare hundred dollar bills lying around the house, but those of you who do should try to make this happen.

For tickets or more details on this particular event, check out the gala’s page on JDFR’s website. Please let us know if you ‘re attending!

Note: If visiting Pixar at this time is not feasible, there is always the possibility of attending the yearly EmeryEd events which are more affordable but have not yet been announced. Keep it here for details as soon as they’re available.
