Buzz and Woody are on a mission — to spread awareness of Toy Story 3 through clever promos!
On visiting the official Toy Story 3 website you’ll be greeted by an all-new video featuring clips from the movie and some brand new animation shot in security cam style. As it turns out, the toys are on the run! Find out what’s going on in "Mission I: Woody and Buzz."
The title implies that this is the first in a series of promos with further "missions" probably featuring other toy duos. Since the Toy Story home page will surely update in the near future, you can permanently find this video here.
Coming across brand new Toy Story content while on the film’s official site is no surprise, but sometimes you stumble upon cool stuff where you might not expect it. That’s what happened when I opened a recent LA Times article focusing on ticket prices and box-office revenue for 3D flicks.
Illustrating the piece is a new promo shot from this year’s most anticipated 3D release, Toy Story 3! I have a feeling that the folks up in Emeryville will be feeling like Woody (pictured) after week one estimates come in! But let’s not jinx anything, instead, head on over to LA Times for an interesting read.
