The moment many Pixar fans have been waiting for is almost here, the release of Toy Story & Toy Story 2 in 3D Double Feature‘s trailer!
The clip will be attached in 3D exclusively to G-Force, the upcoming Walt Disney Pictures/Jerry Bruckheimer production featuring crime fighting guinea pigs. A Slash Film reader was lucky enough to see a screening of the trailer early! Here’s their description but beware, if you don’t want to be spoiled skip to the next paragraph:
"Toy Story looks just like the Toy Story 3 trailer we’ve seen. It starts with Woody looking for Buzz; who pops up in the foreground (in the audience) with a pair of 3D glasses. The 2 of them are joined by Jessie and throw a few gimmicks out (Jessie’s hands reach out to the audience.) Rex shows up, but is in 2D at first and later corrects to 3D. Release date is given and the 2 week engagement tagline. Also mentions 2 films for the price of one. [Theaters are] expecting to run them at the normal 3D pricing [surcharge]."
Sounds pretty good to me although I’m not too keen on watching G-Force! You can check out Disney’s latest with brand new trailers for Toy Story & Toy Story 2 in 3D Double Feature and Alice in Wonderland starting this Friday July 24th, all in 3D. Of course we’ll post the trailer here as soon as it’s online but if you don’t go to the theatre you’ll miss the effects.

Now I hope the International fans are not going to miss out on this, but then is the double feature leaving the US shores? “G-Force” released to the UK Audience July 31st… May have to go just to see…
OH YEAH!
Sounds like Pixar fans (who aren’t to keen to see G-Force) will do what Star Wars fans did during the previews before Monsters, Inc.: Pay to see the movie, watch the trailer, then leave. 😀

What countries will the double feature be released in Martin? Do you know that info?
I’ll see Toy Story 1&2, but I’m not crazy enough to pay for a Bruckheimer film to see the trailer.
With TS2, I’m looking forward to that one scene where the rear of the semi-trailer seems to pass over the audience. The sound when I heard that scene 10 years ago is still in my head.
