Ain’t It Cool News has a new poster from Up featuring the film’s cantankerous protagonist, Carl Fredricksen.
He’s so very happy.
/Film has also obtained an exclusive character poster from Up featuring the hilarious Wilderness Explorer, Russell. Ok, now he’s actually happy!
ComingSoon.net also got a new promotional poster! This time it’s of Dug the talking dog. It’s the first time we get to see the character in so much detail, and it’s astonishing. Notice the collar….

The blogs also remind us that Pixar will be holding a panel featuring Pete Docter this Saturday from 3:30 to 4:30 at WonderCon followed by a presentation of the first 45 minutes of Up later that day starting at 7:30. These posters are presumably going to be up the weekend of the event, so if you’re at the San Francisco convention look out for them in bus shelters around the city!

What do you think about these poster designs?

Awww. That’s adorable. I want it!
AICN has another poster, with Carl. There’s something very interesting on his vest.
I really hope my grandparents get to see this movie. I’ll recommend it to them.
Look at Russell’s enthusiasm compared to Carl, lol!
any ideas when the posters can be bought?
Good question.
These are meant for bus shelters but maybe they’ll be available as standard posters soon…
Well… I hate to be the naysayer here, as I’m a huge Pixar fan, but everything I’ve seen so far from this movie looks… bland. The voice acting I’ve heard from the kid didn’t impress either. I hope I’m wrong.
I hope so too! Anyway I wonder who does the voice for Dug. And why don’t they have a Kevin poster?! I wonder who does the voice for Kevin. I wonder if Kevin talks!
A naysayer before a Pixar film is actually released? What else is new?
Dug is really cute on that poster.
awwww
dug is so cute
thanks for these 🙂
I’ve heard that it might possibly be actor Delroy Lindo who voices Dug. I like all these posters alot, especially the Russell one. They all seem even more PIXARish than the characters from Ratatouille and WALL-E. I’m already waiting in line for this one!
