WALL•E Wins Big at National Movie Awards

WALL•E won Best Family Film at the second annual National Movie Awards (UK), held last night at  London’s Royal Festival Hall.

Our favorite little robot beat out Kung Fu Panda, The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian and The Golden Compass in this category of the award show that lets the people of England vote for their favorite films of the year. Other winners include Mamma Mia! for Best Musical, The Dark Knight for Best Superhero Movie, and Juno for Best Comedy.

Pixar also grabbed the Special Recognition Award for all of its fine achievements throughout the years. It’s safe to say, these were the first major awards won by WALL•E!
