Variety reports that WALL•E hit an estimated $23.1 million on it’s opening night. Estimates for the opening weekend range between $60-70+ million.
If the film passes the $70.4 million opening mark this weekend, it would place itself as the largest opening for a Pixar movie, in front of Finding Nemo and The Incredibles who earned $70.2 and $70.4 million respectively.
