Between this, the original teaser and the Super Bowl promo, why is WALL-E being tied into mentioning Pixar’s legacy? It’s like people need to be reminded of the past successes, and that this will be another one.
To the first anoymous: are you suggesting that I got this story from The Pixar Blog and that other Pixar news site that doesn’t even work in my primary web browser? Because I most certainly didn’t. I’d also like to thank you or someone who lives with you for your other comments i.e. “I hate you all! You post stupid and pointless news!”. It really shows your maturity. Grow up.
In the interest of openness and transparency, I’d like to point out that the first anonymous commenter is incorrect when he suggests that Upcoming Pixar found this story through my blog. I was actually sleeping when the story broke, and thus posted it hours after UP and JV Pixar News.
What’s fair is fair! 🙂
Thanks for clarifying MB1000 🙂
“[…] Why is WALL-E being tied into mentioning Pixar’s legacy?”
Because there are people who can’t differentiate Pixar films from non-Pixar films. Yes, there are people who think SHREK is a Disney/Pixar movie.
Sadly, that’s true, bawpcpwn…And there are numerous videos on Youtube that claim to be made by Pixar, but they obviously aren’t. People will believe anything. =(
“Why is WALL-E being tied into mentioning Pixar’s legacy?”
Why not? It’s a Pixar movie. Pixar’s got a stellar record (8 for 8!). I can’t blame them. Shoot, if I had that library behind me, I’d show it off every chance I got.

This clip was so adorable. It just reminded me once again how much I love all of Pixar’s work. I am really anticipating this one for the summer and just can’t wait! Wall-E is such an adorable character and concept. The animation looks so amazing too!
