If you thought WALL•E’s awards run was over, you’d be wrong.
Not too long ago, WALL•E picked up a Saturn Award, I was surprised because I sincerely thought it’s hugely successful time winning awards had ended. But surprises can be good and WALL•E is at it again winning two EMA (Entertainment Merchant’s Association) Awards! One for Best Animated Title of the Year and the other for Best Packaging because of the DVD’s environmentally sound cover. EMA basically awards the best in home video.
Unfortunately, our favorite little robot didn’t win Best DVD/Blu-ray of the Year probably due to the feature lacking standard DVD. Instead, The Dark Knight won that and three other awards. Nevertheless, it’s still amazing how after more than a year, WALL•E is still winning stuff!
Congratulations again to Andrew Stanton and crew on another hugely deserved victory!

I’m kind of surprised The Dark Knight won Best DVD. It was lacking in any good features. It was all promotional type fluff. Wall-E meanwhile had The Pixar Story. I’m not so disappointed it lost just that such an unworthy package actually won.
