Peter Gabriel, Thomas Newman and WALL•E were honoured at the World Soundtrack Awards 2008 on Saturday night.
The collaboration between WALL•E composer Thomas Newman and singer Peter Gabriel, Down to Earth, was named the best original song written directly for a film.
Others honoured include James Newton Howard and Dario Marianelli.
