We’re now just over a month away from the premiere of Pixar’s first half-hour special, Toy Story of Terror. While we’ve yet to see much in terms of actual footage, Disney has begun to advertise the special with some brand new banners.
Touring Plans (via The Rotoscopers) recently discovered these banners dispersed throughout the Animation Courtyard in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Find out what’s spooking the toys when Toy Story of Terror premieres October 16 on ABC.
Are you excited to return to the world of Toy Story?

No, not really. I feel like it’s making the Pixar image cheap- after all, they do movies and shorts, not TV specials… well, until now.
I am excited. I disagree that it would make the Pixar image cheap. I think Cars Toons kinda did that. However, I think a well done TV special could be really good.
Considering how much has been done with the major Pixar franchises — toys, ads for other products, licensed food, diapers, etc. — a Pixar-crafted TV special doesn’t strike me as particularly cheap.
