I was just browsing the iTunes Store when I took a peek at the new album from Disney, Disneymania 6 featuring a cover of Sheryl Crow’s Cars hit, ‘Real Gone’ sung by Billy Ray Cyrus. Some may know Billy as the father of Miley Cyrus, the star of Hanna Montana, or if you are like me, you may know him for the downright diabolical country hit, Achy Breaky Heart.
I just hope that Disney don’t get him to perform a track for one of these "Inspired by Disney•Pixar’s Cars" albums they have planned.

Looks like an Andy Worhal reject
Thought it was a good cover myself. He put his own spin on it without substantially changing the tune, and I liked the inflection he puts on some of the lyrics. Good stuff, in my opinion.
I prefer the Sheryl Crow version but it’s good anyway.
This version is all right, but I liked the original better. By the way, Mitchel Musso and Emily Osment of Hannah Montana fame did “If I Didn’t have You” from Monsters, Inc. which has a pretty good beat but is strange since it was originally two male monsters singing a duet, not two teens in love! LOL
Also Jordin Pruitt (one of those random Disney Channel singers that isn’t famous for being in any show) sings “When She Loved Me” from Toy Story 2, this one was pretty good.

I love Billy Ray’s cover of the song. I liked Sheryl Crow’s version, but I really think I like this version better.
i think that i like BILLY RAY CYRUS’s version! his is the best. and my first cousin Ashley Torrance is in the new video of his “Real Gone”
She has been in other videos as well. and says that he is sooooooooo nice. and reall cool to be around. he is also very kind and down to earth! my NANA met him in nashville and Ashley took the picture and never thought of meeting him and being a star in his new video.and he sighned it, and I have it! hopefully i will meet him one day. i am a really big fan of him and his daughter Miley also.
