WALL•E is keeping it up overseas with an estimated box-office of: $238,600,000
Our favorite little robot managed to stay on top for three weeks in Australia where it has been dethroned to the number two spot. The Andrew Stanton directed film is making about 10 million dollars per week consistently and with one major territory left for it to open in, this trend should keep up.
Domestically, WALL•E has been slowly but shurely climbing up the ranks where it is now the #5 movie of the year in terms of box office (#1 animated.) Estimates for this week put WALL-E at: $221,595,782
With a worldwide total of: $460,195,782
Once again, congratulations Pixar!

Some words of advice to Walt Disney Studios marketing. When you market WALL-E here in Japan on December 5th, just copy how the buzz of the movie, Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea by Hayao Miyazaki, was marketed a week before it was released into theaters and you should break Finding Nemo figures, which was $102,441,470.00(85 days), in just one month. Hey, if Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea can sell $100,000,000.00(31 days)* worth of movie tickets, so can WALL-E. Beat Ponyo!
