Have you ever thought of watching every single Pixar flick back to back, have you actually attempted it?
Well this next marathon isn’t as extreme but it’s equally exciting! As part of their annual 25 Days of Christmas, ABC Family will be playing Walt Disney Pictures Presents Pixar Short Films, a collection of 20 Pixar shorts back to back!
Programming includes 15 shorts in the official Pixar canon (excluding Partly Cloudy/Dug’s Special Mission), Lucasfilm produced The Adventures of Andre and Wally B. and 4 shorts from the Cars Toons mini-series. This is the perfect opportunity to revisit each Pixar short (from Luxo Jr. to BURN•E and beyond) in a new way or introduce friends and family to some of Pixar’s shortest and sweetest creations.
Tune in to this 2-hour long Pixar shorts celebration on December 2nd, 2009 at 7 PM with an encore immediately following. The special will also air on December 18th and 19th at 10 PM and 6 PM, respectively. Who knows what Pixar goodies might be shown during commercial breaks…
I’m very excited for this special; it’ll be nice to show to holiday guests! Who else is tuning in?

Man, the holidays… THAT’s the time of the year where I become really envious of people with cable. :’( Wish I could tune in….

Aww man, how much you wanna bet we’ll see some new footage and or behind the scenes stuff from Toy Story 3?
I did a Pixar movie marathon this summer! I started at 8:00 in the morning and went back-to-back-to-back in order of release until I finally fell asleep for the night in the middle of Cars. The next night I watched Ratatouille but never made it to Wall-E. Oh well—there’s next summer!
That’ll be soooo cool to see! I remember last year, they showed Cars on ABC Family! Now, it’s shorts time! 😀
Hey that sounds like a great idea!

This will also be the first time that un-identified flying mater will be shown 🙂
