Disney continues to put out new Brave promos and featurettes in anticipation of the film’s approaching release. Like two previous clips, the newest Brave featurette provides an introduction to Merida and her royal family.
This time, Queen Elinor and King Fergus, Merida’s parents, take the spotlight. Fergus is presented as courageous and headstrong, while Elinor is more restrained and struggles to tame Merida’s spirit. View it below or on the Disney homepage:
This is also the first promotional material to include Brave‘s MPAA rating: PG for some scary action and rude humor. Brave joins the likes of The Incredibles and Up as the third PG-rated Pixar film, likely because the action in the movie involves humans.
Brave opens in the US on June 22.
