Lightning and Mater take to the streets once again in Disney/Pixar’s first screenshot from Cars 2.
If this image is any indication, the upcoming sequel should easily blow your minds! Cars 2 follows McQueen as he races against the globe’s best in the World Grand Prix while Mater… tries to stay out of trouble.
Does the Aston Martin-esque character look familiar? Well you’re not crazy! It’s the fully rendered version of Finn McMissile, a spy car last seen hidden on Andy’s wall in Toy Story 3. I’m digging the jet too!
Cars 2 "drives into" theatres on June 24th, 2011. An all new trailer is set to run before Disney’s Tangled on November 24th.
Any guess as to what international location Lightning and Mater are in?
