You actually made a slight mistake by putting “roll” instead of “role” . Just an observation is all.
Now i’m gonna squeel if I ever watch Alien again. XD
Actually, this isn’t the first time Sigourney Weaver has played a ship’s computer. She played the Planet Express Ship in a Valentine’s episode of Futurama back in 2002. Furthermore, in the 1999 movie Galaxy Quest, she played Gwen DeMarco, whose character, Lt. Tawny Madison, had only one job – to repeat whatever the ship’s computer said. Weaver was cast in Galaxy Quest as a reference to her Alien role, and considered Gwen/Tawny the “anti-Ripley.”
