Ain’t It Cool News visited ShoWest this week and at Disney’s presentation, they were among the first public audience to see an image from Toy Story 3. Here is how Quint described the concept art:
"They showed a piece of artwork from Toy Story 3 that I hadn’t seen before. It was kind of a haunting image, actually. Woody has his back to u, overlooking Andy’s room. Woody’s head hangs low. Andy’s room is now a teenager’s. There is a hill of dirty clothes in the middle of the room, a guitar in one corner, car poster on the wall, etc. No toys to be seen excpet Woody himself. Like I said, a sad image."
Sounds epic! Can’t wait to see the picture when it’s released online. Toy Story 3 is in theatres June 18th, 2010 in Disney Digital 3D, directed by Lee Unkrich.

Wow…the lone toy.
Looks like Pixar is going to make the truth of the toys being removed known to the world.
Lets just hope that Buzz isn’t seperated from woody like everyone else “might” be.
My jaw just dropped to the floor. Ouch.
Hahaha Bryko614!
Wow. What an image. The manner in which Pixar handles visuals such as this is just… marvelous.
I’ll have to read that article at some point….
Man, why wont they post it publicly yet? I’m dying to see it. it sounds great. I’m sure it’ll feel like Andy’s version of “Jessie’s song” when the room starts to reflect Emily out growing Jessie.
So cool, it’s amazing how a description of ONE image can evoke an emotional response. I am so so pumped for TS3.
I’m surprised you didn’t post this yesterday instead of posting april fools.
