Last week, we had the chance to get to know the three lords who will provide much of the comedy in Brave. Now, take a look at another new clip which shows us their three sons who will compete in the Highland Games to marry Merida.
The animation does a great job of selling the characters here; Young Macintosh’s over-the-top arrogance, Young MacGuffin’s timidness, and Wee Dingwall’s absent-mindedness are all clearly conveyed through each of their movements. The trio don’t seem to have a huge part in the film, but they seem to be fun, well-designed characters. Check it out below:
Brave arrives on June 22.
Do these Brave clips leave you wanting more?

It’s very BROAD animation certainly: but I don’t think it’s bad at all. The lords are defenitely embellishing, but that’s the POINT; they’re men’s-men…. i.e morons. The three son’s acting is hysterical; the showboat, the gentle giant and the complete dud.
They´re giving away half of the movie with these clips – completely wrong marketing strategy, in my opinion (of course, when it comes to marketing, nobody knows anything, and that includes me…) But seriously, I have stopped watching them (as hard as it is) – when I saw Tangled, I realized that I already knew the complete storyline, and all of the major scenes – not this time…. 🙂
I dont think this clip ruins the wait, I mean the center of the story is the relationship between Merida and her mother, the suitors may look more like minor characters (wich r so well made in any aspect) in that case. By the way, I cant wait to see it and how the story will get to be!!!
