The french website Effets-Speciaux.info has posted some images (translated from french to english) from the April 8 press conference and presentation in New York, which includes some new images from Up, Bolt, newt, The Bear and the Bow and The Princess and the Frog.
In the Up images we see what the house looks like in full form, and where it is situated on the ground. The newt image depicts a diagram of a blue-footed newt doing some kind of mating dance perhaps, and The Bear and the Bow image shows the character designs of the main characters.
Thanks Kinoo.
Up and newt look pretty interesting, but I’m having mixed feelings about The Bear and the Bow. It doesn’t look like a Pixar kind of film to me.
Fan-freakin-tastic! These all look to be unique and brilliant in execution. In Pixar I trust!
Best,
Mike Thompson
I guess I just feel weird about The Bear and the Bow because it is a fairy-tale story. But I’ll trust Pixar and hope for the best that it is good. I’m sure it will be. Pixar has never failed us before.
I’m excited for “Up” sounds like it’s going to be a heart-wrencher and “Newt” sounds interesting.
I’m also skeptical about “Bear and the Bow”. If Ratatouille, Wall-E, and Up are Pixar’s 2nd Golden set after Monster’s Inc., Finding Nemo, and The Incredibles, then “Bear and the Bow” seems like it’ll be the 2nd Golden set’s Cars.
I could be wrong, Pixar is trying something new, but I’m also very skeptical. Sorry.
Up is going to be AMAZING! The pictures give away a bit of the story. =)
Before every Pixar movie, people have been sceptical. It’s standard procedure now.
I’m going to hold any judgments on how pixar-y BatB is until I see some CG renderings.
The bear and the bow looks great! I highly applaud Pixar for doing something different and tackling a fairy tale. Pixar will do great. Don’t have doubts because it is different. Who wants to see a bunch of films that all have the same feel to them? …booooring
Can’t wait to see it! Good Luck!
