As we approach release, it has become clear that we’ll see a lot more Toy Story 3 than just the trailers.
One of my favorite tie-in ads so far is the Morgan Freeman narrated VISA commercial. It’s clever; Woody and the gang are worried when they spot a young girl about to check out Buzz Lightyear from a department store.
I’ve seen this particular spot playing on TV a couple of times. If you haven’t, I won’t spoil anything. See what happens next here.
This is just one of the many partner ads that I foresee in the near future, each complete with new character animation specially made for the promo. If you haven’t already, definitely check out the fun Toy Story 3/Aflac commerical that we featured earlier this week.

Just updated it. Didn’t work. Then I tried IE instead of FF; and of course, it worked.

I saw this on the other day, love it! And as if it wasn’t awesome enough they got Morgan Freeman to narrate it. Hella bomb.
Awwww so adorable. I haven’t seen this on TV, but I have seen the Aflac spot. This one was much cuter! I loved the homage to the mutliple Buzz’s. So funny! Also, how about Rex running? Pretty impressive! I didn’t think he’d be able to dodge those boxes up there, hahaha 🙂
I really like the Visa commercial. “He’s a gonner!” There’s a load of Pixar’s typical attention to detail in the design of the game boxes – a shame the ad’s too les res to really check many of them out online.
