Leslie Iwerks’ documentary about Pixar, The Pixar Story does indeed have a website as was pointed out to me. The site currently has a synopsis, credits, screenings and reviews (only Variety currently). Coming soon are images and a trailer.
The Pixar Story: Coming to a City Near You!
However, most exciting about the site is that it lists where it will be screening. It just had its World Premiere at the Mill Valley Film Festival on October 6, but will screening at the Kansas City Film Festival on Oct 21 at 3:00pm. From there it will go on its “14-City Rollout” where it will travel to Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, Washington DC, New Orleans, Denver, Seattle, San Diego, Boston, Atlanta, Milwaukee, Indianapolis, Minneapolis and San Francisco. From where it will be the opening night film at The San Francisco International Film Festival.
Full details are available at the website, www.thepixarstory.com
Thanks Mark.

What is it about? The synopsis just told me stuff I already knew. Is it another film or something?
Fingers crossed for an international release! 🙂
I saw it at the San Rafael Theater during the Mill Valley Film Festival and it was fantastic!!! I can’t wait to see it again. I loved the raw footage when Pixar first started at Point Richmond.
The director Leslie Iwerks did make an appearance but could not stick around for Q&A. I thought the documentary was wonderfully edited and I gave it a 2 thumbs up.
