Time has ranked WALL•E with the prestigious position of number one in the Top 10 Movies of the year. This is part of their annual list of Top 10 Everything, from iPhone Apps to Worst Business Deals.
Famed critic, Richard Corliss notes Andrew Stanton and co’s amazing achievements in carrying a film with little dialogue and such limited characters.
The other films to get on the list include, Synecdoche, New York, My Winnipeg, 4 Months, 3 Weeks & 2 Days, Milk, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Slumdog Millionaire, Iron Man, Speed Racer, and Encounters at the End of the World.
WALL•E, you truly deserve it!
Bonus: "All hail “Wall-E.” That’s what The New Yorker had to say about Pixar’s 2008 film in their top 10 movies of the year list. The article can be read here.

That’s amazing! Time Magazine, wow.
I’m pretty sure WALL-E does have eyebrows, though. 🙂
“I’m pretty sure WALL-E does have eyebrows, though.”
You are directing this to the Time article right?
Yes.
I guess EVE doesn’t have eyebrows, if that’s what they were referring to, but they more than compensate for that. And WALL-E doesn’t have elbows, but, as pointed out on the behind-the-scenes, when he runs his arms along the tracks, he can create the illusion of elbows and shoulders. And I urge people to check out that special feature – seeing WALL-E shown with actual elbows as a test character is really goofy and funny. 😀
and now the New Yorker hails “Wall-e”

Anthony Lane: The Ten Best Films of 2008
… Which leaves us with the only American release of the year that fulfilled its imaginative brief, down to the last beep. To the inexpressible joy of buffs and kids, it peered into a trash-compacted future while nodding fondly at the lustre of films past. All hail “Wall-E.”
