Blue Sky Disney discusses Pixar’s nine lives so-to-speak, and how naysayers predicted Pixar’s doom with Cars and Ratatouille, but haven’t said a peep yet about WALL•E.
I’ve talked to several people that have seen footage and even large chunks of it and they can’t seem to pile on enough praise. There doesn’t seem to be any fear of doom and box office disaster like last year.

The only naysayers I’m aware of are self-hating Disney wannabes Jim Hill and Al Lutz…as in “rhymes with pill and putz.” I stopped reading both years ago. I urge you to do the same.
PIXAR*Disney is here to stay, and that’s the best news we’ve had in decades.
With the stuff Disney puts out on its own (see: Hannah Montana), the only success they have with quality work comes from Pixar. Their movies are always guaranteed to hit & exceed the hundreds of millions in box office gross, so none of them are by any means flops. Pixar just gets better & better, so Disney is lucky to have them to uphold the Disney name.
