Getting your hands on The Art of Toy Story 3 might not be so easy these days…
Charles Solomon’s stunning coffee table book is so popular that Chronicle currently has it out-of-stock and is now reprinting. So if you still haven’t been able to purchase your copy, why not try your luck at it?
The Art of Toy Story 3 is up for grabs on Chronicle’s official blog! Entering couldn’t be easier: all you have to do is post a comment naming your favorite Toy Story character. One lucky winner will be picked at random by July 6th.

I would say Ken. He was hilarious.
Woody. I mean seriously, who doesn’t like Woody?
Buzz – Spoiler Alert – Loved Spanish Buzz!
Hey guys,
Thanks for all the comments, but please remember to name your favorite Toy Story characters in the comments section of Chronicle’s blog to properly enter the contest. 🙂
Sorry for any confusion.
It probably doesn’t appear as though anyone has commented as the comments on Chronicle’s blog mus first be approved by someone of higher authority before they actually are seen by the public’s eye.
Just thought I’d put that out there and keep up the great work guys!
Yeah, you’re probably right Last Anonymous. After people began saying that they commented here and nothing appeared on Chronicle’s site I started to suspect the same thing.
Same as an above poster: bought my copy already at full price. Was in New York right after it came out. Needed something to tide me over between the early screening I saw and the upcoming release,so like a PIXAR ‘addict,’ bought it for $40. I’m still carrying it around and reading it over and over again.
One of the ‘wordiest’ PIXAR making-of books, but I love how they go into detail in this book.
Hamm, Hamm, always Hamm
ALIENS,
without a doubt, everything they do makes me laugh, they need more air time
I will enter!!!! I love Toy Story!!!
Commented. Would be nice to win, as I cant really afford this book at the moment. I’m dying to see it. especially now that Ive seen the movie and no longer have to avoid spoilers.
Mr. Pricklepants was a great surprise personality. Hilarious!

Thanks again for the great comments, but if you want to enter this contest you must remember to comment on Chronicle’s blog.
Picked up the book yesterday in Sydney. They were just unloading their shipment that was 2 weeks late. Fantastic presentation and the paper is a satin finish, very high quality. I sat up till 1am reading it this morning (bad idea as have to work today!!) It is wordy but every sentence is interesting. I picked up the “Art of Toy Story” book in 1996. It is a tiny little book about 4” square does anyone have this? Also does anyone know if they ever did a book ‘The art of TS2?
Thanks for the heads up! I love art books. <3
