The B-rolls for each Pixar film provide extensive behind-the-scenes footage, often accompanied by the movie’s musical score. The raw footage from the B-roll is usually compiled into other featurettes.
Take a look at the B-roll for Brave below, split into three parts. The score is absolutely gorgeous and it’s always fascinating to see the artists and animators at work, and hearing the voice actors’ various takes shows how nuanced the art of voice acting truly is. Be warned that some of the dialogue and roughly animated scenes may contain spoilers.
In less than three weeks, Brave will launch on June 22.
